A big part of my coaching philosophy is to support client's to see their lives from symbolic and spiritual perspectives.
When someone has back pain, rather than looking at it from a physical perspective, I ask questions like, "have you been carrying too much workload and other people's issues on your back?".
That's symbolic back pain.
When someone has back pain, they're being initiated to learn how to let others on their team mess up and drop the heavy weight of expectations that they can control everything.
That's spiritual back pain.
When we get out of our logical, rational, deductive brains for a moment -- we have access to greater sources of wisdom that create the BIG O's in coaching:
